Postcard Project
This was my first illustrator class and I cannot to date explain how close I was to going insane doing this project. I did not like this awesome program in the beginning. The professor of this class got every bit of effort out of me. Every tiny little detail in this image was done by me. Every layer, every line. This was done using Adobe Illustrator without using the "image trace" tool. In fact I was not taught what the image trace tool was at the time I did this project. I were allowed to duplicate the leaves and bushes, but I literally outlined and traced every other detail. We could not use gradients, the "pathfinder tool", and the "align tool" as well. Fast forwarding to today, I will do these projects in a heartbeat and I LOVE this program now. I thank that professor for this project now. He uses this as an example in some of his current classes I am told. The detail is what I pride myself on now. If you get a minute, check out my "Other Art Work" section to see more of these types of projects.
