Firstly, I loved this project, and genuinely had a great time creating this. So this is of course done before the movie. I actually had some bad feedback from a couple of Marvel faithfuls who didn't like my costume color choice. The idea was for me to make it realistic. I could not see all the red. In the movie, I will not lie, it worked GREAT!! I was going for a tactical look. I think with this image, I literally saw my image manipulation skills take a different level, and I focused more on detail. This again was super fun!
I completed this fall 2016. The image was created from a ton of parts and took me a long time to finish. Mainly because I was going for a specific look. I had to reference the Guardians of the Galaxy movie A LOT!! This is when character design comes into play and I was really pushed in my creativity. ANYWAYS, if you don't know the guy, you will after the infinity war movie or Guardians of the Galaxy 2 movie... I HOPE. You cant have Gladiator (the superman of marvel) not in one of those movies. If you knew comics, you know him, Captain marvel, Nova, Quasar, and Beta Ray Bill (The horse thor guy) all are apart of the movies.
Sentry. Look him up, that's all I can say. If you don't know then read some comics. I'm joking, but seriously, this guy is an awesome character, and is probably one of the more powerful heroes. I hope he gets integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fun Fact: the legs from the knees below are from WWE wrestler, Seth Rollins.
Before this movie came out, I created this image. It actually generated a lot of buzz on the internet. I really would have like to have seen my version realized on screen instead of Ivan Ooze look alike, but oh well. I still think fans like my version better. Great movie though.
This was a tough project to do since at the time I did this, Paul Walker had died. It was eerie more than anything, because the manipulation had a lot to do with is face, and adding the hair, eyes, etc. Overall this project was fun and I would have loved to see him play Aquaman. RIP to this great actor who got me into modified street racers and my love of cars.  Can't wait for the Justice League move!!
2014, so you can see I am 2 years before the new series. Yes, I know all about Misty Knight who I never finished, and now it may be too late. Her side kick Colin Wing, and Luke's side kick Iron Fist who I tried to make, but he kept on appearing in my mind as a lame guy with green spandex and a Ninja Turtles bandanna mixed with a Wave doo-rag. I am very curious how Marvel will address his costume in live action. Anyways, Luke Cage is the truth!! The Netfix show is AWESOME!! I recommend it. Fun Fact: The torso is an Under Armor shirt. I had to photo shop the tattoos off, if you look super close to his arms, you can see them.
So as you can see this image was created in 2014. I say that to say that I am glad this will be a movie one day maybe in 2018. FOUR years after I created this!!!
Cable is almost one of my most favorite heros in the marvel universe. I built this image using with the idea of leadership and boldness. Fun Fact: The arm is Dwayne Johnson's arm from one of the Fast and Furious movies, and the other arm is from a Halo character.
This was created as a homage to the guy in the movie. I kept wanting to create a team image of my own, but never could find a proper image. I will say I got lazy and bombarded with work, life, kids, wife, school, and other things, and never finished his arms.... the lines... yep. I may get to it one day.
No one knows who Forge was. It's like, do you even know the X-Men? Anyways Since he was in NONE of the movies, I created him. Fun fact: His torso is actually from Colossus' real movie image. The bionic leg is from the Crysis video game character bio-suit.
I struggled doing this because of his feet. Other than that, I had fun with this, and chose a harder angle with his body pose. I simply wanted to create an updated version of him.
Click and the image will open in a new tab. Anyways, this image is a culmination of a 3 year project. Dr. Nemesis was lost in a hard drive crash and I was unable to recover his file, but I will be building him soon. I just have to remember all the parts I used.
Yep 2013. I hated the rendition of him in the Wolverine Origins movie. So I created my own. A much more bad ass one. I chose the actor because to me he had the look. As for the attire, I wanted to make him fit inline with the current theme of all the newer marvel movies. I will be doing another on with Channing Tatum. Fun Fact: The legs are from Captain America's Avengers suit.
To me this is what Grifter would look like in real life. Not a red cloth over his face. BTW, if you don't know Grifter, look him up. I remember reading his comics growing up.
I didn't know about Static as I didn't read much DC comics growing up. I found out about him from the cartoon, Static Shock. As I began to research him, I saw that I liked him so I created the adult version of him from the comics. Fun Fact: The legs are from Thor.
Luke Cage again!! I wanted to play around with characters and poses. This time its Rampage!! Fun Fact: The belt if from Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat) and the torso is Adrian Peterson's.
This was done in 2012/2013. It's 2017 and remember the Native American from the move Magnificent 7, yep that's him. I found his face image as a model image, and found out he was an up and coming actor, so I was very excited to use him in this image. To me he was the PERFECT FIT!! Seriously marvel, the guy in the movie was ok, but this guy fit perfectly!! Plus my costume is more accurate to the original comic version. I created this using Gimp in my early days of learning image manipulation. Fun Fact: The arms and legs are from Vin Diesel Riddick, The stomach is from Man Of Steel, and the Chest is from The Dark Knignt. Oh and Warpath is more of Marvel X-Force, he was in the movie, X-Men the Last Stand.
I wanted to create Wolverine in a full suit. The pose is off to me, but this was in my testing era of image manipulation when I was trying new idea and concepts. Sort of pressing the envelope on all my work. I like the way he turned out, but he could be better. I will redo this soon.
As you can see 2012. Yep i been doing this for a decent time now, and she was like my 3rd or 4th character. If the ever do a Bishop movie, she would be great. Well... in 2012 she would have been great. I think there are better women for Shard's role now that I have been doing this for so long and researching young black female action actors. Anyways, Shard is Bishops sister. Fun Fact: The legs are from Resident Evil, and the forearms and hands are from GI Joe Movie the Baroness.
To me the real way Jean Grey AKA Phoenix should have looked in the first gen X-Men movies. Anyways this is my take. Fun fact, the legs are from the Black Widow character.
